This collection features the first 7 textile designs that we made, 10 if you count color variations. We printed the designs onto fabric, designed and produced a small run of wearables, with the goal of showcasing De Islas artwork at the same time as funding the creation of more designs. We figured some basic vacation wear would be a good idea- since we like to be covered in patterns ourselves maybe others do too?! We participated in various independent markets and events, and it is the support of people that want to wear De Islas as much as we do that helped start this project and create more of the artwork you now see throughout this website.
We do not intend to pursue our own clothing line. We have since ended the phase of physical promotion, and offer what remains of our limited edition stock right here. We will not manufacture any further products directly, but you can purchase select products and items with any of our patterns PRINTED ON DEMAND.
