Limited Edition Wearables

This collection features the first 7 textile designs that we made, 10 if you count color variations. We printed the designs onto fabric, designed and produced a small run of wearables, with the goal of showcasing De Islas artwork at the same time as funding the creation of more designs. We figured some basic vacation wear would be a good idea- since we like to be covered in patterns ourselves maybe others do too?! We participated in various independent markets and events, and it is the support of people that want to wear De Islas as much as we do that helped start this project and create more of the artwork you now see throughout this website.

We do not intend to pursue our own clothing line. We have since ended the phase of physical promotion, and offer what remains of our limited edition stock right here. We will not manufacture any further products directly, but you can purchase select products and items with any of our patterns PRINTED ON DEMAND.

100% Cotton Poplin.

Loose comfortable knee-length shorts with pockets, elastic waist, belt hoops, and drawstring. Perfect for the beach, for lounging at home, for a funky Co-ord party, for everyday! Made from our staple Cotton Poplin, the classic weave allows the skin to breath easily through the fabric while the stretch design maximizes its flexible and moisture-absorbing quality. Our Cotton Poplin has a smooth soft hand due to its high thread count. The material is easy to iron and does not wrinkle easily. Tightly woven fibers make the fabric comfortable yet durable, so it can be washed normally and still look and feel better for longer.
